Mediation

A mediation prep pack and a damages ledger built from the record.

The damages ledger

The Damages Ledger lists billed amounts by provider and dates of service, with the source document for each line and the total billed. It is computed from the billing in the file: every amount is printed in a document, and nothing is an AI estimate. Treatment with no bill and bills with no matching record are flagged under Coverage gaps.

Generating the pack

  1. Open the case and go to Mediation (under Prepare).
  2. Next to We represent the, choose Plaintiff or Defense.
  3. Click Generate pack.

The pack reads every document, the damages ledger and the open issues. It uses one analysis from your monthly allowance.

What's in the pack

  • Strengths and weaknesses for each side
  • The other side's best arguments, each with the record facts that answer it
  • Open issues that could move the case
  • A damages narrative
  • A mediation statement outline

Every point is cited. The pack sets out what the record shows. It doesn't value the case or predict an outcome.

If documents are added after the pack is built, it's marked out of date. Click Regenerate to rebuild it.

Exporting

On Pro and Pro Unlimited, download the pack as PDF or Word (.docx). The Word version is the one to edit into your mediation statement.
