Chronology

Build dated timelines of the case from its documents, each event linked to its source.

Building the timelines

  1. Open the case and go to Chronology (under Analysis).
  2. Click Generate Timelines.

Case Insight360 reads the processed documents and builds a set of timeline cards, such as medical treatment, communications, filings and witness events. Generating the timelines uses one analysis from your monthly allowance.

Reading a timeline

Click Open on a card to see its events in date order. Each event shows its date (or "No date"), what happened and the document it came from. Medical events also show the complaint, findings, treatment and restrictions where the record states them. Click the source to open the document.

Pin the cards you use most so they stay at the top.

Keeping it current

When you add documents, the Overview marks the chronology as out of date. Click Refresh on a card to rebuild it from the current file. Each refresh uses one analysis.

Exporting

On Pro and Pro Unlimited, open a card and click Export PDF for a formatted timeline you can send to co-counsel or add to the file. On Free you can view timelines but not export them.
